We celebrated the Davis Christmas on Monday evening 12/22/2008.
Earlier that day, Grandma Sheila had some of the grandkids: Lauren, Thomas & Jonathan. They practiced The Nativity to be produced that night for the family.
Before they practiced parts were assigned. Lauren was to be Mary, Jonathan was to be Joseph and Thomas refused to be anything but a pink shepherd or a pirate. After much cajoling and trying to reason with the 3 year-old that there were no pirates at Jesus' birth, Thomas agreed to be a sheep.
After dinner, fine Christmas Nachos, the program began. Dad read some excerpts from Luke and the kids came out in their costumes and put on a good show. I think that the Oscar would go to Matthew portraying Jesus in such a calm manner it was almost real. Pacifier and all.
This was great fun and I am sure that the kids had a blast.
